Y'all know this person.
Maybe you follow them. Maybe you ARE this person right now, and bc I'm not trying to be rude about it, I'll say I've been this person too.
The content is good.
The personality is clear.
People comment, share, respond, come back.
And when there's something to sell, it doesn't land the way the regular posts do.
Ppl will tell you it's a trust issue or that you need to post more or do a challenge first. And some of that is true sometimes.
But honestly, most of the time it's simpler than that... the content mix doesn't actually include content that sells.
When people don't understand what you're selling, they don't buy. Not bc they don't like you. Bc they don't have clarity on what they'd even be buying.
You are not losing sales to skepticism. You're losing them to confusion.
The entrepreneurs who figure this out don't necessarily post more. They don't change their voice or their personality or the things that are already working.
What changes is that their content starts doing ALL of its jobs instead of just one of them. The audience that was already there (the people who were already responding) suddenly have something to respond to differently.
The relationship that was already built starts going somewhere.
Most of the time the gap is smaller than it looks. But you gotta see it first.
4x your communication output. Same quality. No burnout.
The bottleneck isn't what you want to say — it's how long it takes to type it. Wispr Flow removes the bottleneck.
Speak naturally and get polished, send-ready text for executive summaries, client updates, board recaps, investor notes, or just the 30 Slack messages you're behind on. Flow strips filler, formats numbers and lists, and preserves your tone.
Used by teams at OpenAI, Vercel, and Clay. 89% of messages sent with zero edits. Works in every app on Mac, Windows, and iPhone.
Now, Jada. Why are you telling me all this?
Fair question to ask. It didn’t just drop in my spirit some random day. This is what I plan on touching on within the Fun Content Offer that I’m in the process of designing with my folks on the waitlist.
I noticed that some people may be hesitant to have more fun in their content bc they don’t wanna lose the plot basically. They don’t wanna be the person who ppl enjoy and gravitate towards, but ultimately don’t end up paying. And THAT is a feeling I know from first-hand experience sucks.
So I didn’t see how I could glaze over that concern. And this is how you get that whimsy in your content, have fun, and still have people get the point of what you do. I know bc I’m doing it everyday. If you’d like to be a part of it too, you still have time to join.
For the ones who still don’t have an interest in that topic, it’s all good. I’ve got some other things we can talk about next week that may be more in line with your interests.
Until then, talk to y’all soon!
love y’all, real bad. 🫶🏾
