Based on the title you already know what I came here to talk about and although this wasn’t really something I made a big deal about… the name was lowkey stressing me out y’all.
Reason being that I’d gotten used to having all the details up front before presenting an offer to people. Before I even really market it I already know what it’s gonna be called and what type of offer it’s going to be, but I didn’t do that this time.
I recognized a problem, tested the concept, and y’all really confirmed for me that this was something I could help you fix. Everything else has been us putting this thing together piece by piece (shoutout to y’all being the best co-designers) and seeing what would make the most sense.
But this name tho? It was really trying give me a run for my money because I needed it to be on theme so to speak, but I also wanted it to be clear for the ppl who will be participating after the fact.
So What Was The Criteria?
Here’s what helped me ultimately land on a decision:
fashion/design related, but like not in a cheesy way.
Short, sweet and to the point (no tongue-twisters allowed)
spoke to the complexity of your challenges bc part of the challenge is being able to bring in more facets of who you are into your work
still kept the fun energy. Bc I meant what I said about enjoying the content you make
And after careful deliberation ( I really feel like a judge on Project Runway now 🤭) I’ve decided that the winner is insert drumroll
Pull The Thread: Build One Brand Out Of Everything You Already Are
I wanted something that pulled in the fashion aspect of what I do and how it ties into branding bc I understand life best in metaphors lol. And I know many of y’all do too. Plus, I can’t be showing y’all how to have fun and I’m over here being all serious about this. Landing on this name tested my creativity for sure, but y’all are worth it. 🫶🏾
And something that I decided I’d add as a special treat for everyone on the waitlist (outside of the giveaways) is a $50 discount on the price of the series. It was always a part of the plan, but I had to decide what the original price would be first 😂
